Sheremeta earns All-American Honors at NCAA Championship

FORT WORTH, Texas – Fifth year Alisa Sheremeta of the No. 14 University of Missouri gymnastics team wrapped up her seasons at the 2023 NCAA Championships Thursday afternoon at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Tigers competed as individuals in the afternoon semifinal after qualifying based on their performances at the 2021 NCAA Tuscaloosa second round on April 2.

Sheremeta hit the beam in the third rotation, earning a 9.925 from the six-judge panel on the beam. The fifth year earned second team All-American honors after her performance with the third-highest score of the afternoon session.

Alisa is the 13^th Tiger gymnasts to earn individual qualifications to NCAAs in program history, and the fourth as event specialist.
