Mizzou Arena

The Southeastern Conference unveiled its conference schedule on Thursday, completing the 2023-24 schedule for the Missouri men’s basketball team.

The Tigers’ 18-game SEC slate includes a home-and-home series with five opponents, while hosting four of the remaining schools at renovated Mizzou Arena and traveling to face the other four.

Mizzou’s quest for a conference title begins on Saturday, Jan. 6, welcoming Georgia to Columbia for the SEC opener. The Tigers also host South Carolina (Jan. 13), Florida (Jan. 20), Arkansas (Jan. 31), Texas A&M (Feb. 7), Mississippi State (Feb. 10), Tennessee (Feb. 20), Ole Miss (March 2) and Auburn (March 5) during league play.

The Tigers’ road slate includes Kentucky (Jan. 9), Alabama (Jan. 16), Texas A&M (Jan. 23), South Carolina (Jan. 27), Vanderbilt (Feb. 3), Ole Miss (Feb. 17), Arkansas (Feb. 24), Florida (Feb. 28) and the season finale at LSU (March 9).

Tip times and television designations will be released at a later date.

Overall, the Tigers’ 31-game schedule includes 17 home games and 25 games against schools from the nation’s top seven conferences, including six games at Mizzou Arena versus schools that qualified for the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Fresh off a season that featured 25 wins – their most in 11 seasons – the Tigers look to continue their ascent under second-year Whitten Family Men’s Basketball Head Coach Dennis Gates. During the 2022-23 campaign, Mizzou defeated six nationally-ranked schools, won its first NCAA Tournament game in 13 seasons and advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinals for the first time in program history.
