The Tigers will host four series and travel on the road for another four. Mizzou will open SEC play at home against Kentucky (March 10-12) before traveling to Florida (March 17-19) and Auburn (March 24-26) for back-to-back road series. The Tigers then play host to Alabama (March 31-April 2) followed by a trip to Baton Rouge against LSU (April 7-9).
Mizzou’s conference slate continues when they host Ole Miss (April 14-16). After a scheduled SEC weekend bye, Mizzou travels to Texas A&M (April 28-30) before concluding conference action at home against Arkansas (May 5-7).
Mizzou went 12-11 in conference play a season ago, which included series wins against Kentucky and Texas A&M. The Tigers went on to a successful run in the SEC Tournament, not allowing a run until the Championship game where Mizzou was defeated by Arkansas.
Mizzou is coming off a 2022 season where they hosted an NCAA Regional for the second-consecutive year and made the SEC Tournament Championship game for the second time in program history. In 2023, Mizzou looks to stretch its run of 15-straight NCAA Tournament appearances. The Tigers return its entire pitching staff from a year ago, who posted a 2.81 ERA including 1.00 ERA in the postseason. Mizzou also returns 2022 Golden Glove Winner and NFCA All-Region performer, Jenna Laird.
