Schwartz and Miller Named AMC Athletes of Week

St. Louis, Mo. – Makenzie Schwartz and Kenny Miller have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Outdoor Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from April 17 through April 23 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

Makenzie Schwartz, Columbia (Mo.)

• Finished 1^st in the pole vault at the Wildcat Open.
• Recorded a height of 2.53-meters.

AMC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Kenny Miller, Columbia (Mo.)
So. | Columbia, Mo.

• Finished 1^st in the discus throw at the Wildcat Open.
• Hit the NAIA “B” standard with a toss of 47.72-meters.
• Qualified for NAIA Nationals.
