Schouten Recognized as NFCA Second-Team All-American

Louisville, Ky. – Columbia College sophomore Ella Schouten has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Second-Team All-America.
 
Schouten appeared in 25 games for the Cougars, recording the sixth-lowest ERA in the NAIA (0.95). She produced 247 strikeouts for Columbia, which ranks tenth in the nation. Schouten manufactured an 18-7 record in 162 innings pitched.
 
Schouten also picked up a host of accolades including All-AMC First Team, Academic All-AMC, NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athletes, CSC Academic All-District, NFCA All-Region honors.
