Schouten Named NAIA All-American

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that Columbia, Mo. native, Ella Schouten has been selected to the 2023 NAIA Softball All-America Team for the second time in her career.
 
Schouten was named to the Honorable Mention team after producing an overall record of 18-7, while gathering a 6-2 record in Columbia’s postseason run. In 162 innings pitched, Schouten collected 247 strikeouts, while generating a 0.95 ERA.
 
Adding to her robust resume, Schouten also earned All-AMC First Team, Academic All-AMC, NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athletes, CSC Academic All-District, NFCA All-Region, and NFCA Second-Team All-America honors this season.
