As a Top Performer, she has been selected to the U.S. Junior Women’s National Team U-17/18 roster after attending the 2023 HPP National Selection Event Nov. 30-Dec. 3, 2023, at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida.

Hill, a 5-7 infielder from Godley, Texas, inked with Mizzou on Nov. 10 as part of the Tigers’ 2024 Signing Day Class.

The 19th ranked player in the 2024 class, according to Extra Inning Softball, Hill holds the all-time batting average (.457) for Godley High School.

ABOUT THE HPP NATIONAL SELECTION EVENT

The High Performance Program National Selection Event is an invite-only opportunity for athletes who have advanced through various HPP Identifiers over the last year. These top-players showcased their skills in a series of on-field evaluations and scrimmages in front of the U.S. Junior Women’s National Team Selection Committee and HPP evaluators — including U.S. Olympians and professional softball athletes — for a chance to be selected to age-specific U.S. Junior Women’s National Team rosters based on scheduled events for the 2024 season.

LOOKING AHEAD

Missouri will open its 2024 campaign at the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic Feb. 9-11 in Clearwater, Florida. The Tigers will face Utah, NC State, South Alabama, Liberty and Clemson over the three-day tournament.
