Rousseau, Lopez Claim NCAA Berths on Platform

MADISON, Wis. – Senior Sarah Rousseau and junior Carlo Lopez both earned NCAA Championship berths on the final day of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on March 9.

Rousseau finished 7th on platform to earn her bid. Lopez took third on platform to claim his spot.  He is also now eligible to compete on 1-meter and 3-meter based on his top-12 finishes on the first two days of Zones. Sophomore Takuto Endo finished 10th on platform, making him eligible for platform at NCAAs, following his bid on 3-meter.

Freshman Catie Rodocker finished 14th on platform, and sophomore Jude Dierker finished 13th.

10. Takuto Endo (614 total; 341.7 finals; 272.3 prelims)

13. Jude Dierker (531.8 total; 259 finals; 272.8 prelims)

UP NEXT

The Women’s Division I NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships are set for March 16-19 in Atlanta, followed by the Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships from March 23-26, also in Atlanta.
