Rogers Claims USATF U20 National Championship

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Track and Field’s Drew Rogers claimed the 5,000m national title at the USATF U20 Championships on Sunday in Eugene, Ore.

Coming off his inaugural collegiate season, Rogers paced the field with a time of 14:57.55.

Competing at the USATF Championships on Thursday, Euphenie Andre notched seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 13.15m (43-1.75). With the result, Andre advanced to the world championships in Budapest, Hungary on Aug. 19-27.

Arianna Fisher concluded her collegiate campaign in the event with a jump of 12.51m (41-0.50).

Tigers’ alumni Karissa Schweitzer placed fifth in the 10,000m on Thursday, running a time of 32:32.10. Schweitzer also earned a nod to the world championships in August.
