Piper Named to ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Baseball Gold Glove Team

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in conjunction with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has announced that Columbia College baseball player, Kenny Piper, is a 2021 ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Baseball Gold Glove Team recipient.

Piper becomes the first ABCA-Rawlings Gold Glove winner from Columbia. Piper finished the year with a .994 fielding percentage behind the plate, allowing just one passed ball in over 40 games played behind the plate. Piper played an instrumental part in limiting stolen bases, throwing out 20 base stealers.
