O’Donnell and Wheeler Named AMC Players of the Week

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the conference players of the week for the week ending March 27. Athena Wheeler was named AMC Softball Player of the Week, while Jada O’Donnell earned AMC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

• Went 7-14 at the plate with three home runs.
• Drove in six runs and scored five runs.
• Had an on-base percentage of .533 and slugging percentage of 1.143.

AMC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Jada O’Donnell, Columbia (Mo.)
So. | Saint Charles, Mo.

• Competed in one event at the Miner Invite.
• Finished third in the 5000-meter run in a time of 19:10.08.
• Has the fastest time in the AMC.
