No. 17 Gymnastics Host Quad on Senior Night

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri gymnastics team hosts Southeast Missouri State, North Carolina and Ball State for their final regular season meet on Friday, March 10. The Tigers will honor their six seniors at the end of the meet. 

The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network+, with the first vault starting at 6:01 p.m. CT.  

LAST TIME OUT

The Tigers continue to improve as they beat Alabama in the regular season for the first time in program history. The Tigers scored 197.075 against Alabama, their third consecutive 197+ team score of the season. Mizzou ended SEC play with a winning record. The Tigers recorded above .500 in SEC conference action for the first time in program history. The Tigers beat the Crimson Tide on floor by scoring 49.475. Mizzou scored 49.350 in bars, tying the third-best event score in program history. 

Sophomore Jocelyn Moore recorded a personal best on bars with a score of 9.925. Senior Helen Hu scored 9.950 on beam to tie her season high score.

SCOUTING THE SERIES: 

• The last time Mizzou saw action against SEMO was in the 2020 season, where Mizzou dominated the Redhawks 195.6000-191.2750 in a home tri-meet against Illinois and SEMO.

• The Tigers faced North Carolina at the North Carolina Quad Meet during the 2022 season, beating them 196.850-196.475.

• Mizzou faced Ball State in a home tri-meet during the 2022 season and won with a score of 196.600-193.775.
