COLUMBIA, Mo. — The No. 13-ranked University of Missouri gymnastics team (8-4, 2-4 SEC) heads home after a month-long road trip as it travels back to Columbia for a showdown against No. 12 Arkansas (6-5-1, 3-2-1 SEC), on Sunday, March 3. First touch of the Battle Line Rivalry from Hearnes Center is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT, and the action will be broadcast on SEC Network. 

LAST TIME OUT
  • The No. 14 Tigers traveled to Auburn, Alabama, to compete in their final road meet against the No. 13 Auburn Tigers. 
  • Mizzou earned a final score of 197.000 which marks the Tigers’ fourth road score (sixth total) of at least 197 this season.
  • The Tigers earned shares of three event titles on the evening. Graduate student Sienna Schreiber topped the podium on two events, earning the bars title with a 9.900 and the beam title with a 9.925.
  • Junior Jocelyn Moore picked up her fourth floor title of 2024, showing out with a 9.950 in the anchor position.
IN THE RANKINGS
  • The Tigers stand strong in the No. 13 spot this week with an NQS of 197.180.  
  • Missouri maintained a spot in the top 15 on bars, slotting in at No. 14 with a 49.295 NQS. 
  • The Tigers stand pat on vault at No. 11 for the third week in a row with a 49.295 NQS after this past week with five scores over 9.850. 
  • Missouri’s Fab Floor maintained its spot among the top 10 teams in the country, clocking in at No. 9 with an NQS of 49.495. The Tigers have been in the top 10 all eight weeks this season.
  • The Tigers have jumped four spots in the beam standings with the implementation of NQS to No. 18 with a 49.160 score. 
WE WANT SOME MOORE
  • Junior Jocelyn Moore extended her streak of earning a 9.9 or higher on floor to 11 routines. 
  • On her floor routine this past week, she earned a 9.950 on the road against Auburn. 
  • She is still just one of two SEC gymnasts to record a 9.9 or higher on every floor routine this season alongside LSU’s Haleigh Bryant.
STELLAR SCHREIBER
  • Graduate student Sienna Schrieber posted her sixth 9.9 on the beam for the season after her routine this past weekend. 
  • With a score of 9.925, Schrieber was able to help Missouri reach the 197 mark for their highest score at Neville Arena. 
  • The Cumming, Georgia, native is tied for the highest beam NQS in the SEC with a 9.935 as she hopes to earn WCGA Regular-Season All-American honors for third time in her career.
QUEEN CELESTINE
  • Throughout February, junior Amari Celestine has been on tremendous run on both floor and vault.
  • Celestine has hit a 9.9 or higher in four of her last five floor routines, including a 9.925 last weekend at Auburn. 
  • The Wildomar, California, product tied for the team lead on vault with a score of 9.875, tying with Moore and freshman Rayna Light. The 2022 NCAA vault silver medalist has hit a 9.850 or higher on all eight vaults this season.
INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS
  • On beam, Sienna Schreiber jumped into the top 25 rankings and is now tied for No. 7 with an average score of 9.797 and an NQS score of 9.935. 
  • Three Tiger vaulters — freshman Hannah Horton (No. 18, 9.885 NQS), Amari Celestine (No. 25, 9.875 NQS) and Jocelyn Moore (No. 25, 9.875 NQS) — are ranked in the top 25.
  • On bars, senior Mara Titarsolej is tied for No. 13 with a 9.915 NQS.
  • Jocelyn Moore is tied for No. 5 on floor with a 9.945 NQS and checks in as Missouri’s highest-ranked individual. 
LAST TIME VS. ARKANSAS
  • The last time Missouri and Arkansas faced off came on Feb. 23, 2023 at Barnhill Arena, as the visiting No. 15 Tigers upset the No. 17 Hogs, 197.850-196.650. 
  • The Tigers finished their bar rotation with a 49.450, setting a then-program record in bars. Amari Celestine earned the bars title with a 9.925 while Sienna Schreiber and Helen Hu added 9.900s.
  • The Tigers bars and vault rotations collectively scored 98.775, the highest score through two rotations in program history. 
  • Missouri scored a 49.550 on beam, setting a beam program record. Five Tigers scored a 9.900 or higher as MU closed out its record-setting night in style. 
ALL-TIME VS. THE RAZORBACKS
  • Arkansas holds the all-time series lead over Missouri, 17-15.
  • The Tigers have claimed six of the last eight regular-season meets since 2017.
