NCAA Championships: Day Three

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Roberto Vilches and Georgi Nachev each earned first team All-America honors on day three of the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Vilches cleared 2.10m / 6-10 ¾ and 2.15m / 7-0 ½ on each of his first two attempts to secure an eighth-place finish in the high jump.

In the triple jump, Nachev finished fifth with a jump of 16.18m / 53-1. He sat in ninth place after the first three jumps, just making the cut.

The Mara Häusler and Arianna Fisher conclude competition at the NCAA Championships on Saturday with the triple jump (2:50 p.m. PT / 4:50 p.m. CT).

Women’s Entries:

Saturday: Mara Häusler (triple jump)

– second outdoor championships, two total

– ranks eighth among those competing with a season best of 13.56m / 44-6

Saturday: Arianna Fisher (triple jump)

– second outdoor championships, four total

– ranks 10th among those competing with a 13.42m / 44-0.5 from the NCAA West Prelims
