NBA Legend Kobe Bryant Dies

ESPN and multiple other outlets are reporting former NBA star Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash Sunday.

Bryant and several others died in the crash near Los Angeles. He was 41. Details about the crash and the other victims are still emerging at this time.

Bryant stands fourth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 33,643 points. LeBron James passed Bryant’s scoring mark in a game played the night before the crash.

He won five NBA titles with the Lakers, was twice an Olympic gold medalist for Team USA,  won two NBA Finals MVP awards and one NBA regular-season MVP honor.
