COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri track and field team had multiple athletes set personal-best marks over the weekend at the Don Kirby Invitational in Alberquerque, N.M., and the Music City Invite in Nashville, Tenn. The Tigers returned from a week-long hiatus to come out strong in their continuation of the indoor season.
NOTABLE FINISHES:
Three Missouri runners posted top-10 times in program history — Kelsey Schweizer in the women’s 800m (eighth-best), Christopher Conrad in the men’s 800m (third-best) and Alicia Burnett in the women’s 60m (third-best). All three times were career-highs.
Several other Tigers such as Sydney Oberdiak (women’s weight throw), Abbey Wilson (women’s 3000m), Brianna Lee (women’s 800m), Mya Drayton (women’s 400m), Petar Canak (men’s long jump), Johnny Martin (men’s 800m) and Jayson Ashford additionally had career-best performances.

The Tigers will compete in their final regular-season meet next Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
