Mizzou Swim & Dive Takes Third and Fourth at SMU Classic

DALLAS, Texas – The Mizzou men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams place third and fourth at the SMU Classic on Oct. 7-8.

The Mizzou men finished with 298 points, behind Texas (348) and Texas A&M (306). The women’s team finished with 255 points, behind USC (325) Michigan (311) and Louisville (304).

Seniors Jack Dahlgren and Clement Secchi both took home individual wins for the Tigers. Dahlgren won the 200 free, while Secchi won the 100 fly and the 200 fly. Mizzou also won the men’s and women’s 200 free relays.

The Tigers notched nine NCAA ‘B’ cuts over the two-day event. Dahlgren also set a meet record with his time of 1:33.48 in the 200 free.
