Mizzou Sends Four to NCAA Zone Diving Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Swim and Dive program will send four divers to Houston, Texas next week for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. The first session from inside the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center Natatorium begins on Monday, March 11 at 11:45 a.m., and action will be streaming on UHCougars.com.

Sophomore Collier Dyer and freshman Tommaso Zanella will represent Missouri on the men’s side. Dyer is set to compete in all three events, while Zannella features in Wednesday’s platform dive competition. Representing the Tiger women is sophomore Kamryn Wong (all three events) and junior Catherine Rodocker (platform).

Dyer holds formiddable season-best marks across all events, achieving new personal bests in the 3-meter and platform dives. He boasts a season-high 1-meter score of 315.95, a 3-meter mark of 398.90 (eighth in program history) and a platform standing of 402.30 (third in program history). Zannella’s best platform dive of the year came in last month’s Mizzou Qualifier, achieving a 355.35.

Wong enters NCAA’s having published personal records in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives earlier this season. She heralds a 304.43 in the 1-meter (ninth in program history) and a 356.78 in the 3-meter (third in program history), as her platform dive sits at 216.85. Rodocker’s platform dive currently sits at 243.10, a mark she set at Purdue in January.
