Mizzou Falls in Three to Kansas State

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou volleyball (2-8) fell 25-23, 25-20, 25-20, to Kansas State (7-2) on Tuesday afternoon in the Hearnes Center.

The Tigers were paced by junior Anna Dixon with 13 kills. Freshman Jordan Iliff added another seven kills for Mizzou.

Jayden Nembhard led Kansas State with 17 kills while Aliyah Carter added another 16 for the Wildcats.

Anna Dixon: 13 kills, 3 digs, 1 block

Jordan Iliff: 7 kills, 2 blocks

• Dixon floored double-digit kills for the fifth consecutive match.
• Freshman Lauren Forbes matched her career high with seven digs in the match.
• Graduate Nicole Alford produced seven digs as well to co-lead the Tigers.
• Freshman Addison Lyon dished out 17 assists to lead Mizzou.

Mizzou travels to Illinois State for the Redbird Classic beginning Friday, Sept. 17. The Tigers will face Illinois, North Texas and Illinois State.
