Men’s Track & Field Places Second at AMC Championships

Elsah, Ill. – The Columbia College men’s indoor track & field team finished second at the 2022 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Indoor Championships on Saturday.

Columbia scored 161 points and missed out on the team championship by 3 points, as Missouri Baptist edged the Cougars with 163 points. William Woods rounded out the top-three with 108 points.

Ethan Phillips won AMC Freshman of the Year after winning the triple jump, placing second in the long jump, and adding an 11^th and 12^th place finish in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash respectively.
