COLUMBIA, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference has announced the members of the 2023 AMC Men’s Soccer All-Conference and Season Award winners.
Columbia placed four on the First-Team All-Conference Team, as well as one on the Honorable Mention Team.
- First-Team All-Conference – Guy Baskerville
- Has been a staple piece of the Cougar defense, holding conference opponents to just four goals. Baskerville has also recorded two goals on the season.
- First-Team All-Conference – Caden McLagan
- Another contributor to holding down the defensive line, producing four shutouts in conference action.
- First-Team All-Conference – Cooper Allen
- Has netted three goals for the Cougars in 17 games of action, including two game-winners.
- First-Team All-Conference – Nathan Durdle
- Scored two goals this season over the 17-game stretch.
- Honorable Mention – Alejandro Molto Munoz
- Produced a regular season record of 6-3-3 on the season, collecting seven shutouts.
- Champions of Character Team – Lake Gott
- Gott was named to the AMC Champions of Character Team for his contribution to the NAIA Five Core Character Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.
The AMC has also released the list of student-athletes to earn Academic All-Conference recognition. To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and finish the year on the team. *fall sport freshman are not eligible for the award in their first season.
