Men’s Golf Wins WBU Classic

Cherokee Village, Arkansas – (Results) For the second-time this season, the Columbia College men’s golf team finished first at their tournament. The Cougars won the WBU Classic with a 296-287—583 and won the event by 12-strokes.  

The Cougars shot an impressive one-under-par (287) in round two to maintain their distance from second-place. The 287 is the teams sixth lowest round in program history and the 583 is the 6th lowest 36-hole team total.

Kanon Kendrick shot 3-under-par (69) and finished in a tie for third. His round total of 69 is the 10th lowest in school history, while the 3-under-par is the seventh lowest vs. par.

Hunter Parker and Noah Wilson also finished in a tie for third (146), while Pedro Marchioni finished seventh with a 147.
