Men’s Golf Finishes Action at SEC Tournament

The University of Missouri men’s golf wrapped up play at the SEC Championship on Friday, finishing 14th as a team.

Senior Jack Lundin led the Tigers with a three-round total of 219 (71-74-74). Classmate Charlie Crockett (75-75-70) tallied a 70 during the final round to lead MU and along with sophomore Alfons Bondesson, (73-69-78) finished just one stroke behind Lundin with a 220.

Freshman Adam Miller (75-74-75) and junior Trevor Mierl (78) rounded out the team’s performance during the final round of stroke play.

As a team, the Tigers carded an 879 over the three-day tournament in Georgia (290-292-297). Auburn and Tennessee tied for the lead in stroke play and head into the match play rounds as the top two seeds.

Mizzou now turns its attention toward the NCAA Championship and will learn its postseason fate next Wednesday (May 1), during the selection show.
