Men’s Golf Claim First Ever AMC Championship

Mountain Home, Arkansas – The Columbia College men’s golf team claimed their first ever AMC Championship title today. The team lead after every round, ultimately finishing first in the field of six. The win means that the men’s team has automatically qualified for the NAIA National Tournament in Mesa, Arizona. 

NAIA Men’s Championships are set to run from Monday, May 15th, to Friday, May 19th. 

Second-Team All-Conference member Giacomo Comerio led the way for the Cougars as he finished tied for second, shooting 68-72-73. Cameron VanLeer was not far behind, finishing with a 74-73-69.
