Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College men’s cross country team finished runner-up at the American Midwest Conference (AMC) meet on Friday morning. The race took place at Cosmo Park in Columbia, Mo.
Alexander Dukes was the individual champion, taking his fourth-consecutive title, along with grabbing Runner of the Year distinction for the fourth-straight year. Dukes is the first runner to sweep four individual AMC titles. Columbia’s Will Cherrington was also named Freshman of the Year.
Carter Brocato, Dukes, and Cherrington were each named onto the All-AMC team for their top-ten individual finishes. The trio qualified for NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. on November 18.
