Men’s Basketball Signees Shine at All-Star Games

A pair of University of Missouri men’s basketball signees played under the bright lights this past weekend, competing at national all-star games. Annor Boateng represented the Black & Gold at the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Oregon, while Peyton Marshall participated in the Capital Classic in Washington, D.C.

An international all-star game, the Nike Hoop Summit features the top talent across the world. The event has showcased seven former No. 1 draft picks, six NBA Most Valuable Players and 38 NBA All-Stars. Playing for the World Team, while representing the Tigers and Ghana, Boateng played 26 minutes with four points (2-5 shooting), one rebound, two assists and two steals.

BOATENG SIGNS WITH MIZZOU

Marshall also excelled as he helped the United States All-Star Team to a 105-102 victory over the Capital All-Stars. The 51st Capital Classic, Marshall played 25 minutes with 14 points – shooting 6-of-9 from the field and 2-of-3 from 3-point range – with five boards and two assists.

Boateng and Marshall are two pieces featured in the nation’s No. 4 freshman recruiting class, joining Mizzou for the 2024-25 season.
