Mara Titarsolej Earns SEC Specialist of the Week Honors

Mara Titarsolej sticks a landing at Georgia.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri gymnastics senior Mara Titarsolej claimed her first SEC Specialist of the Week honor, the conference announced Tuesday. This is her sixth career conference specialist of the week award after claiming five such honors for the EAGL during her tenure at LIU.

Titarsolej had a record setting weekend at No. 20 Georgia, posting the best bars score in the history of Mizzou Gymnastics with a 9.975. The Zutphen, Netherlands, native is one of just 11 gymnasts this season to score a 9.975 or higher on bars this season. With her program-record routine, she now holds the uneven bars record at two schools after posting a Perfect 10.000 at LIU on March 6, 2022.

This serves as her 22nd career performance of 9.9 or higher on the apparatus. The two-time WCGA Regular-Season All-American leads the Tigers in average bars scoring with 9.883.

She is Missouri’s first SEC Specialist of the Week since Jocelyn Moore, who took the honor on Feb. 21, 2023, for her perfect 10.000 vault in an upset over No. 5 Auburn.
