Lundin Finishes Second at Colleton River Collegiate

Senior Jack Lundin recorded his fifth top-five finish of the season, placing second overall at the Colleton River Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon.

Lundin, who entered the final round at seven-under, carded a four-under 68 on Tuesday to finish 11-under and in a four-way tie for second place. The senior tallied six birdies during the third round to collect 15 during the two-day tournament. Lundin, who entered the week ranked No. 18 nationally, has placed in the top five in all three spring tournaments and in five of eight events overall this season.

Sophomore Alfons Bondesson carded a one-under 71 to finish at three-under overall (69-73-71) and tied for 29th. Senior Charlie Crockett also placed 29th at three-under (72-66-75), while junior Dagbjartur Sigurbrandsson followed at two-over (74-72-72).

Overall, the Tigers placed fifth of 14 teams as a team with an 845 (-19) over the three rounds. Georgia Southern claimed its third-straight title at the event with a final score of 832.

Mizzou returns to action on Sunday, March 24 when it returns to South Carolina for The Hootie at Bulls Bay.
