Lundin Captures the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate Title

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – The University of Missouri men’s golf team shot a team-best round on Monday on the way to a second-place finish at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at Blackthorn Club at the Ridges in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

The Tigers shot their best round in the second round on Monday, entering tied for first on the leaderboard with a 13-under-par 275. Mizzou finished with a 54-hole total of 838, 26 strokes under par.

Individually, Mizzou placed two golfers in the top five as Jack Lundin finished tied for 1st and Antonio Safa tied for fourth after firing a 6-under-par 66.

Lundin finished with a final-round 67 and totaled a 13-under-par score of 203 for the tournament. Lundin’s finish marks the second time this season he has claimed an induvial title. Safa finished with a final-round 70 and totaled a 9-under-par score of 207 for the tournament.

Alfons Bondesson shared 19th place at 214 (72-71-71, -2) and Charlie Crocket claimed a piece of 23rd place at 215 (72-71-72, -1). DJ Springer rounded out the lineup in 33rd place at 217 (75-71-71, +1).
