Lacrosse Garners Multiple KCAC Awards

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College men’s lacrosse team earned multiple KCAC awards as the list was released today in preparation for the conference tournament. These honors were voted on by the men’s lacrosse head coaches.

Bryce Peltier was named the KCAC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Peltier, the Cougars’ goalie, tallied 148 saves with a 58.7% save percentage. His save percentage ranks fifth in the NAIA and first in the KCAC. 

First Team All-Conference:

  • Matthew Cessna – Collected 24 goals and eight assists for 32 points; had nine ground balls
  • Zach Baker – Totaled 18 goals and 10 assists for 28 points; added 32 ground balls
  • Bryce Peltier – Picked up 148 saves on the season with a save percentage of .587

Second Team All-Conference:

  • Kai Garriock – Had 15 goals with four assists for 19 points; added 12 ground balls
  • Drew Whitener – Helped lead the Cougars’ defensive effort; totaled 22 ground balls with seven caused turnovers
  • Caden Blevins – Forced 11 caused turnovers and added 12 ground balls
