Keil, 200 Free Relay Claim All-America Honors on Day Two of NCAAs

ATLANTA – Senior Megan Keil highlighted and the 200 free relay highlighted the University of Missouri women’s swimming and diving team’s performances on the second day of the NCAA Championships.

The 200 free relay of Keil, senior Sarah Thompson, junior Amy Feddersen and sophomore Sierra Smith finished eighth, earning First Team All-America accolades. The relay’s time of 1:27.06 is the second-fastest in school history. Keil earned All-America Honorable Mention accolades with a 15th place finish in the 50 free.

UP NEXT 

Day three of the NCAA Championships is set for March 18, with prelims at 9 a.m. CT and finals at 5 p.m. CT. Thompson and junior Meredith Rees will both compete in the 100 back. Thompson will also swim in the 100 fly. The Tigers will wrap up the evening with the 400 medley relay.
