Kamryn Wong Podiums on Second Day of SEC Championships

Kamryn Wong 3-meter Podium 2024 SEC's

AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Missouri Swimming and Diving program saw success on the second day of the SEC Championship Meet as Kamryn Wong found her way onto the podium in the women’s 3-meter dive. Wong’s 348.85 is her second-highest mark in the event this season, and was enough to earn third place at SEC’s.

Continuing the day, the men’s 200 medley relay team (Grant Bochenski, Ty Spillane, Daniel Wilson, Frederik Rindshøj) put together an efficient time of 1:23.40, its fastest time of the year, to finish fifth place. Their performance automatically qualifies them for NCAA’s in March.

Two additional relay teams set new season-bests. The women’s 200 medley relay (Ashley Gill, Lina Bank, Taylor Williams, Francesca Smith) placed seventh by turning in a 1:36.96, while the men’s 800 free relay (Calvin Windle, Darden Tate, Sam Brown, Will Whittington) finished in 6:28.05.

In yesterday’s diving action, Collier Dyer finished seventh in the men’s 1-meter dive, topping out at 341.35. Tommaso Zannella followed suit with a 261.95 to finish 21st.
