Join Us to Celebrate Bob Burchard’s Induction Into AMC Hall of Fame Tomorrow Night

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College family joins the American Midwest Conference in celebrating Bob Burchard’s induction into the AMC Hall of Fame tomorrow night during the men’s basketball game. The Cougars are slated to play in the quarterfinal round of the AMC tournament tomorrow night, February 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. against Lyon College. At halftime, Burchard will be recognized for his years service to Columbia College. 

Bob Burchard served as Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach for the Cougars from 1988-2019.

Upon his arrival at Columbia, Burchard turned the Cougars men’s basketball program into a perennial powerhouse in the NAIA. Burchard coached for 31 seasons at CC, compiling a 788-269 record, the most wins in program history.
