Jex Named USTFCCCA Women’s Cross Country Region Coach of the Year

New Orleans, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the 2021 NAIA Cross Country Regional Awards following the conclusion of the regular season.

Award winners were determined by a vote of USTFCCCA member coaches. Only those individuals from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.

Columbia College head coach Tracy Jex was named South Central Region Women’s Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to the American Midwest Conference (AMC) team title with 38 points. The Cougars finished first at four of their five events on the season and are currently ranked a program best No. 18 in the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Coaches’ Poll.
