After starting the spring campaign with a career-best performance, senior Jack Lundin was honored as the SEC Men’s Golfer of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Lundin picked up where he left off in the fall campaign, placing fifth in the spring opener at the Arizona National Invitational. Lundin carded a career-low 201 (-15) over the 72 holes, topping his previous best score by two strokes. Overall, his 201 is tied for the ninth-best mark in school history as he recorded three eagles and 16 birdies during the tournament.

The senior helped the Tigers place fifth overall at the tournament that included 11 schools ranked inside the top 60 nationally, topping SEC rival and No. 25 Texas A&M by one stroke. Overall, Lundin anchored an 830 team score, which is the seventh-best mark in school history.

Lundin earned the weekly accolade for the second time this season, also collecting the accolade on Sept. 20. Currently ranked No. 35 in the nation, Lundin leads Mizzou with a 69.56 stroke average, which also ranks fifth in the SEC this season. He has led the Tigers in four of six tournaments in 2023-24 with three top-10 finishes.

The Tigers return to action on Feb. 25, beginning play at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas.
