Head Coach Tomas Brock Earns Win #100

St. Louis, Mo. – The Columbia College Men’s Basketball team traveled to the campus of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy today to take on the Eutectics in an American Midwest Conference contest. 

The Cougars would play to an 81-53 win to move to 19-5 overall and 8-2 in AMC play, while UHSP drops to 1-21 overall and 0-10 in conference. 

With the win, Head Coach Tomas Brock earned win #100 of his career, moving to 100-45 overall. 

UHSP jumped out to a quick 9-3 lead, forcing an early timeout from CC. From there, the Cougars turned on the offensive pressure and played to a 39-16 lead heading into halftime. Trendon Tisdale led the Cougars with 12 points in the first half on five-of-eight shooting from the field. 

The Cougars saw 16 players play in the second half as they outscored UHSP 42-37 with 11 points from Collin Parker and five points from Trendon Tisdale and Zhvaughn Ward each, respectively. 

Collin Parker led the Cougars with 18 points and six rebounds, while Trendon Tisdale followed with 17 points. 

Fourteen different players contributed for the Cougars in the win. Columbia got 39 points from its non-starters as they also converted 22 points off of UHSP turnovers. 

The Cougars will next welcome Hannibal-LaGrange University to the Arena of Southwell Complex on February 15th.
