COLUMBIA, Mo. — The University of Missouri gymnastics team remains in the top 15 of the Road To Nationals rankings at No. 14 through six weeks. The Tigers maintained or improved their spot on two different events.

With a score of 196.600 last Friday at No. 5 Kentucky, Missouri set its second-best bars score in program history with a 49.425 and tied its ninth-best floor score with a 49.525. The Tigers posted seven routines of 9.9 or higher in Lexington.

For a third consecutive week, The Fab Floor held its standing at No. 6 in the rankings, upping its season average to 49.475. Junior Jocelyn Moore scored her second near-perfect score of the season with a 9.975, while classmate Amari Celestine generated a season-best 9.950 on the apparatus. The team has now exceeded 49.5 on floor in three consecutive meets.

Missouri’s vault ranking sits at No. 11, the team’s best through six weeks since 2017 with a 49.275 average. With Moore and freshman Hannah Horton producing 9.900 results, the Tigers notched a 49.250 last weekend in Lexington.

Thanks to the standout bars performance, the bar group upped its standing by one position to No. 14 while increasing its average score to 49.217. Senior Mara Titarsolej shared the bars title with a 9.950 performance, while Moore and graduate student Hollyn Patrick each secured a 9.900 for their first score of 9.9 or above on the event this year.
