Gymnastics Hosts Alabama to Wrap Up SEC Competition

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri gymnastics team hosts Alabama for their SEC season finale on Friday, March 3. The SEC dual will be a top 15 contest as Mizzou checks in at No. 14 this week and Alabama at No. 8.

The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network+, with the first vault starting at 6:01 p.m. CT.  

LAST TIME OUT

The Tigers continue to improve as they posted the best score in program history of 197.850 at Arkansas. The Tigers set new high scores in bars and beam, scoring 49.450 and 49.550, respectively. Sophomore Jocelyn Moore held Mizzou’s top individual scores with a 9.975 in both the vault and floor routines.

Scouting the Series: Alabama

• During the 2022 season, Mizzou dropped a heartbreaker against Alabama, losing 197.500 to 196.775.
• In the all-time series, the Tigers have yet to score a victory against the Crimson Tide.
