Gymnastics host Arkansas and LSU in a Unique SEC Tri-Meet

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri gymnastics team returns home to face Arkansas and LSU in a Tri-meet on Sunday, Feb. 20, at noon CT. This is a rescheduled meet from the Jan. 14, LSU meet and the Feb. 18, Arkansas meet. All tickets from the originally scheduled dates will be honored.

This meet will air on SEC Network+. 

SERIES SNAPSHOT

Mizzou trails the all-time series 11-17 against Arkansas. When these two sides met during the regular season last season, Arkansas walked away with the 197.350 to 196.850 victory. 

– The Mizzou Tigers have only been able to claim six out of the 51 times they have faced LSU. the last time the two sides squared up in the regular season, Mizzou fell 196.175 to 197.875. 

MIZZOU NOTABLES

– Mizzou remained ranked in the top 20 on each event going into week six of the season. 

– The Tigers are ranked 11 going into the sixth week of the season. 

– Mizzou is averaging a score of 196.850. This time last year, the Tigers averaged a score of 195.265 and a high of 197.175. 

– The last time out, the Tigers scored 196.275 in the loss to Auburn. 

– Freshman Amari Celestine claimed the bars co-event winner with a score of 9.9. The other co-event winner was Auburn’s, Sunisa Lee scoring a 9.9 as well.
