Four Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Columbia, Mo. – The 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Team, which is selected by CoSIDA members, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Four Columbia College softball players made the list – Lexi Dickerson, Avgustina Arbova, Karolina Arbova, and Mackenzie Kasarda.

Dickerson becomes a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-Selection. Dickerson, a graduate student, is graduating with her master of arts in teaching.

Avgustina Arbova, a senior, is majoring in management and is named to the All-District list for the first time in her career.

Karolina Arbova earned a spot on the All-District team for the first-time. The senior is majoring in international business.

Kasarda is also a first-time selection and is majoring in biochemistry.

All four players will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
