Ferreira Named NAIA All-American

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the members of the 2021 NAIA Women’s Volleyball All-Americans and season awards on Wednesday. 

Sophomore setter, Luisa Ferreira, was named to the Honorable Mention team becoming a three-time NAIA All-American in her career. Ferreira earned Second-Team in 2019 and Third-Team honors in 2020. 

Ferreira, a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, dished out 1,366 assists and averaged 10.27 assists per set in 2021. In addition, she added 405 digs, 98 kills, 42 service aces, and 35 blocks. She set new career highs in digs, kills, and blocks.
