ESPN Announces 2024 Gymnastics Broadcast Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 12 ranked University of Missouri gymnastics team will have five nationally-televised meets in the 2024 season, three at home and two on the road, the Southeastern Conference announced Thursday, Dec. 14. All five linear broadcasts will air on SEC Network.

For their nationally-televised home meets, the Tigers will face No. 3 LSU in their SEC home opener, Friday, Jan. 26, at Hearnes Center. Missouri claimed an upset victory the last time LSU visited Columbia, with MU topping the No. 5 Tigers, 197.300-197.200, in a tri-meet also involving No. 16 Arkansas on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022.

On Friday, Feb. 16, Missouri hosts the Mizzou to the Lou quad meet featuring No. 2 Florida, Illinois and Lindenwood. In the Tigers’ most recent home matchup against the Gators, Missouri set a program-high score with a 197.650 in a close battle on Feb. 4, 2022. The event is a part of MU’s partnership with the St. Louis Sports Commission, and will be held inside Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The Tigers close out their SEC schedule with a Battle Line Rivalry meet against No. 15 Arkansas, Friday, March 3. Missouri set a new program-high score against the Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Ark., last season, as the No. 15 Tigers posted a 197.800 to best the No. 17 Razorbacks on Feb. 24, 2023.

While on the road, Tigers fans can catch the gymnastics team on the linear broadcast as they travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to face No. 8 Alabama, Friday Jan. 12. The last time that the two schools faced off on March 3, 2023, No. 14 Missouri bested No. 8 Alabama, 197.075-196.750, for the program’s first-ever regular-season victory over the Crimson Tide.

Missouri will close out its regular-season national television slate with a showdown against No. 17 Auburn, Friday, Feb. 23. In the most recent meet between the two schools, No. 16 Missouri upset the No. 5 ranked Tigers, 197.450-196.550, in front of a Hearnes Center gymnastics record crowd of 6,041 fans. Jocelyn Moore posted the program’s third perfect 10.000 on vault to power the team to its fourth-best score in program history.

Missouri starts the regular season with a home quad meet on Saturday, Jan. 6, inviting Lindenwood, SEMO and Northern Illinois to Hearnes Center. The meet airs at 6 p.m. and will stream on SECN+.
