Dyer Qualifies for Olympic Trials on First Day of NCAA Zone Diving Championships
HOUSTON, Texas – Collier Dyer returned a 3-meter score of 383.45 in finals, helping him finish 10th in the event and qualifying for the Olympic Trials on day one of the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in Houston. His finals mark improved on his efficient prelim score of 353.55.
The sophomore from Littleton, Colo. punched his ticket to the U.S. Olympic Trials in June, which showcases the best athletes in America in preparation for this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris.
Sophomore Kamryn Wong also finished 10th, chipping in a 1-meter score of 288.65 in the women’s prelims before posting a 280.30 in finals, completing a total tally of 568.95.
