Dickerson, Arbova, and Kasarda Selected as CoSIDA Academic All-America

Austin, Texas – College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced that Lexi Dickerson, Karolina Arbova, and Mackenzie Kasarda have been selected to the 2022 CoSIDA Academic All-America® NAIA Softball First-Team.

Dickerson, a native of Henley, Mo., becomes a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American as she was named to the First-Team in 2021 and Second-Team in 2020. Dickerson finished the 2022 season with a 13-4 record and a 1.41 ERA. She struck out 103 batters in 94.0 innings pitched.

Arbova was selected to the CoSIDA All-America list for the first time in her career. Arbova, a Columbia, Mo.-native, led the Cougars with a .433 batting average, 58 hits, 48 RBIs, seven triples, and was second with 13 home runs.

Kasarda found herself on the on the CoSIDA All-America team for the first time. Kasarda hit .346 on the season with 28 RBIs, 11 doubles, two home runs, and one triple. In addition, the Shipman, Ill.-native, had a fielding percentage of .995 and caught three runners trying to steal.
