Addison, Illinois – The Columbia College Women’s Bowling team competed in another Tier 1 tournament this weekend as they traveled to Illinois for the Kegel Collegiate Classic. Facing a loaded competition field, Columbia managed to finish 40th out of 62 total teams.
Jordyn Czerw would be Columbia’s highest individual finisher as she finished 88th out of 393 bowlers, averaging 183.4 pins with a game in the 200s. Mollie Goodwin followed with a 164.6 average, while Samantha Malley averaged 163.4.
In Baker play on Sunday, the team had a 213 opening set, but then struggled through the next few frames. Out of the final 11 Baker games, the team shot nine over 174 and seven over 180, averaging 176 for the 20 games.
Jumping nine spots after Sunday’s play, Columbia finished strong and had another solid performance in a Tier 1 tournament.
