Cougars Win Ninth-Straight AMC Tournament Title

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No.5-ranked Columbia College women’s soccer team secured their ninth-straight AMC Tournament title this evening, taking a 7-0 advantage over William Woods (Mo.).

Columbia improves to 17-1-1 on the season, taking their 10th AMC Tournament all-time.

The Cougars outscored opponents in AMC Tournament play 21-0, beating out conference opponents 44 goals to none in the regular season. This totals to a combine 65-0 offensive presence in favor of Columbia and 900-consecutive minutes of shutout victories.

Columbia has remained undefeated in AMC action since 2018, with their last loss coming to Missouri Baptist, falling 2-1.

With the win, the Cougars earn an automatic birth into the First and Second Round of the NAIA Women’s Soccer Championship.

Columbia now awaits the NAIA Women’s Soccer selection show to see their first and second round draw.
