Mountain Home, Arkansas – The Columbia College women’s golf team captured the AMC Women’s Golf Championship today, marking back-to-back championships for the Cougars. The team lead after day one and held their lead today, rolling to a first place finish. They now look to the NAIA National Tournament in Silvis, Illinois from May 23-26.
After play was completed, Emily Strunck and Sydney Willingham were both tied for first place, shooting 161 through two days. Willingham would finish first in the tie-break after one hole of play. All five Cougar golfers finished in the top ten among 32 total competitors.
