Cougars Take Third at AMC Indoor Track and Field Championships

ELSAH, Ill. – The Columbia College women’s indoor track and field team placed third at the American Midwest Championships Saturday, scoring a 132.00. William Woods finished second with 154.00, while Missouri Baptist took the top spot at 170.00.

Madeline Burton secured the only first place finish for the Cougars in triple jump at 10.52-meters. Jeanette Woehrle took home two second place finishes (weight throw – 15.83-meters and shot put – 12.43-meters), while Caleigh Huot finished second (200 meter dash – 27.13), and the 4000 Meter DMR squad of Yoder,Tomc,Maddox,Johnson,Thielen,Cullers finished runner-up with a time of 14:12.92.
