Cougars Sweep Harris-Stowe in AMC Quarterfinals

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 15-ranked Columbia College volleyball team competed in Quarterfinal action of the AMC Women’s Volleyball Championship this evening, resulting in a 3-0 sweep over Harris-Stowe (Mo.).

Allana Capella hit a game-high 13 kills, producing a hitting percentage of .400. 

Agatha Emanuelle accumulated a hitting percentage of .533, finishing with nine kills.

Ellie Rockers put down 10 kills on the night, along with two blocks.

Luisa Ferreira accumulated three service aces, dishing out 38 assists.

Magdalena Bostal notched 16 digs, while Abby Massengill collected three blocks.

In total, Columbia produced a hitting percentage of .412, gathering 52 kills.

With the win, the Cougars improve to 27-6 on the season.

Columbia will head to St. Louis, Mo. to continue AMC Tournament Semifinal action, facing Stephens (Mo.) on November 10th. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
