Cougars Sweep Eutectics, Earn Third Consecutive AMC Sweep

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College Cougars welcomed the visiting Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy to the Arena of Southwell Complex tonight for another American Midwest Conference matchup. 

The Cougars led the Eutectics in every statistical category en route to a clean sweep, 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-23). The win puts Columbia at 15-3 overall and 3-0 in AMC play. 

Ellie Rockers led the Cougars with a double-double of 10 kills (hitting .429%) and 12 digs. 

Allana Capella and Agatha Emanuelle both followed with eight kills each, respectively. 

Luisa Ferreira registered 23 assists through two sets of play.

Aubrey Kohl took over the setting duties in set three and finished with 13 assists and two service aces. 

The Cougars are back on the court this Thursday as the Owls of William Woods University make the short to Columbia. The AMC contest is set to start at 6:00PM.
